Fueled by an endless source of inspiration from the world around him, Charlie Burk has been painting landscape for over forty years. With immense skill, Burk creates poetic portraits of our living earth, ripe with sumptuous colors and delicate patterns that only a gifted artist’s hand can provide. He works intuitively, losing himself in layer upon layer of pigment and graceful line. A unique marriage of abstraction and hyperrealism, his grass-filled compositions offer us an intimate perspective of what is often overlooked and take us to a place that is familiar yet so far away.
