Suzanne Wiggin

Suzanne Wiggin‘s landscape paintings and monoprints are awake and alive with change: moving weather, storms, golden sunsets, undulating skies, a springtime of soft greens and pale pinks.  She effortlessly shares nature’s soft stillness, and paradoxically, paints for us the vast underlying strength of our natural world. “I see the Spiritual essence in things first, the inner light of a landscape.”

Suzanne Wiggin

Suzanne Wiggin

“The landscape and the weather that passes through where I live have had a profound impact on my artistic vision. The sky and its relationship with the land, the ephemeral energy and clear luminous light simply stir my soul.”

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Artist Suzanne Wiggin’s roots are planted deep in the swamps of Louisiana. She moved to New Mexico as a young woman and fell in love with the light and the landscape. Her early work focuses on the beauty of the Southwest and has expanded considerably over the years.

Suzanne also creates monotypes, one of kind prints, that share a magical softness and grace.

Suzanne makes her home in a valley near the quaint, art-centric town of Taos, and much of her work reflects the breadth of beauty in that region. The trees, the leaves, the mountains, the waterways… All have been captured in their timeless beauty through the movements of her brush.
